Today we are reviewing a legend and icon of the watch world, the Grand Seiko Snowflake, SBGA211. Powered by a revolutionary Spring Drive 9R65 movement that is fully mechanical, but uses a part of its mainspring energy to generate a small current used for a quartz crystal that then uses a magnetic brake to regulate the unwinding, is a masterpiece of engineering. What makes it special is the way it gives us a constantly sweeping seconds hand that is simply mesmerizing to look at!!
Finished unlike any other watch I ever reviewed, it was a true joy to record under macro.
Where this video differs from many others on this watch, is the fact this one has been used and abused for years, so join me to see how Zaratsu finish and Titanium have held up to daily wear!!
