More power demands better cooling. Always.
As part of our GR Corolla turbo upgrade, we’re addressing thermal control with an upgraded CSF radiator — nearly twice the thickness of the OEM unit to maintain stable operating temperatures as engine output increases - especially since we are planning track time.
Cooling isn’t just about radiator size. Airflow across the core matters, especially as larger intercoolers reduce available airflow to the radiator. The GRC has quite an open front end but every bit helps.
Our GR development looks at the entire system, not individual parts. Power, airflow, and temperature all have to be calibrated together.
