Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., is demanding a public health update from U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who has remained out of the public eye for more than 40 days as he recovers from a fall last month. In a sharply worded letter sent Monday, Beshear called on the longtime Republican senator to directly address Kentuckians about his ability to continue serving.
