Back in 2019, in the summer, I had the most surreal few days, when a beautiful butterfly, spent all it's time with me in the garden.The picture is of it sat on my foot....Wherever I walked.It followed....When I sat, it landed on my foot and toe, and stayed!!..Being pagan and quite spiritual, I like to think that it was one of my beloved pets i'd lost at that time, buried in my peace garden, coming back to see me, and tell me all is Ok over the rainbow:)....Anyway.I wrote this hippy trippy 'Donovan style song about the experience.
I thought i'd share this again today as I watch the butterflies in the sunshine:)

I sat with a butterfly on my toe
She just seemed to flutter in and give me a show
She waved at me , with her fire gold saffron wings
I was blessed to see nature do her thing..
I made a friend today, when the gossamer princess came my way
She flitter, fluttered at my feet
And made my toe her royal seat
Wonder if i'll see her again, the gossamer princess from the fairy glen.....
She stayed a while and then took her flight
But she seemed to want to keep me in sight
And before I knew it, she was flying there
Placing a daisy chain in my hair..
