I recently created this Victorian gentleman fox painting and his character inspired me to write this poem . I hope you enjoy:)
The Dandy Steam Punk Fox
With a tilt of this top hat, and wide smile on his face
He will charm and beguile every one in his place
With long flowing locks, and dashing sly nod
He's a sight to behold
The Dandy Steam punk young Tod.

He cares not for chicken, nor prowling the night
Preferring dining on salmon
In rich candlelight
He never wears socks. Too common! Get wet!
He pirouettes in the park in the softest velvets

With a flick of his brush, he shakes off weeds and dried nettles
Preferring to slumber on the finest rose petals
And as for fair vixens, his conquests are many
Waltzing in the moonlight, with the prettiest of plenty!

A cad, a chancer, a gentleman thief,
Preferring a night at the opera than roaming the streets
His reputation precedes him, he thinks out of the box
You can never resist
