Yet another addition to the wall of amazing extremes I've had the pleasure to beat. I really don't understand why it took me this long to finally get to it, as I've beaten each of royen's other extremes (unless you want to count Dedohexdragon, I will not be doing that). I suppose I just wasn't ready to put up with the learning process, as it seems like it would be a learnier level. It just, wasn't though, like at all. Even during the most difficult part of the process, which to me was getting down the drop cube, I was having so much fun. As soon as the learning mindblocks were out of the way, just about everything in the level got absurdly consistent. So much so, that I did two 12-100% runs, a 9-100% run, and a 6-100% run before spending the short time left from 0%. By no means is it necessary to spend anywhere near that much time practicing, but I enjoyed it so much that I wasn't interested in trying to end the experience for a while. The fact I died a single time to the later half of the level almost felt unlucky with how much overpracticing I did, but still this was over so quickly. I did say this level was consistent, right? I mean seriously, this is probably the most consistent level I've ever played, not only in just how frequent good runs become, but the difficulty balancing is excellent, too. Nothing stands out to me as being notably harder than everything else, the only thing that felt different was the last 12% being the easiest part for sure. I think I made it clear enough about how I feel about this. This level is amazing, it's so consistent and satisfying and fun, it's visually phenomenal for 1.9, even more so with being almost 5 years old at this point, and it's hands down my favorite level to come out from there by far. It was absolutely worth my time.
