The Goldcoast Singers was an early 1960s duo consisting of Ed Rush and George Cromarty. They met while they were students in Fresno. Sharing an interest in folk music, they decided to try their luck as performers, starting out in local clubs and then to clubs in San Francisco. They were invited to perform at the San Francisco Folk Festival, where they were well received, and a recording of their performance was released in 1962 as the album Here They Are! The Goldcoast Singers.
