The Womenfolk was an all-female folk group born of the folk music revival in the 1960s. The five members, all of whom sang and played guitar, were Jean Amos, Leni Ashmore, Barbara Cooper, Judy Fine and Joyce James. During the four years the quintet performed (1963-1966) they recorded five albums.
