The son of the legendary Pompey the Great, the younger Gnaeus Pompeius ended up being one of the most important figures in Caesar's Civil War, despite his youth. While he inherited his father's famous name and excellent organizational abilities, Gnaeus' personality and inexperience undermined his success.
