I've been invited to go gliding once before and highly enjoyed the experience. My friend, and fellow roboticist, Alex has always wanted to know more about soaring, but didn't know where to get started. I promised him that if I ever had the chance again, I would take him along to meet Fred, an accomplished sailplane instructor based in Sterling MA as part of the Greater Boston Soaring Club. I highly recommend soaring for any powered aircraft pilot to get more in touch with the skies we live in.

Hey, did you guys know that the FAA actually certifies flight instructors to tell you everything that I try to convey in these videos? You should definitely talk to one of them instead of trusting some video you found on the internet, because who am I to tell you how to fly? I'm just a pilot sharing my experiences with the world, and these videos are not meant to be instructional or advisory in any respect.
