Mahalo to all of you who landed here to watch Glen's soaring performance. Has there been a more unusual, more elevated "performance venue" for Glen than on an airplane in flight? Perhaps not!
This uplifting video is from a special episode of The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour filmed on location in beautiful Hawaii (a departure from the show’s home at CBS Studios). Extensive location photography highlighted the hour and is briefly shown in the clip.
The episode begins with Glen’s well-known Goodtime Hour greeting, “Hi, I’m Glen Campbell”, and then we next see him earning his wings when casually navigating a main aisle in the Hawaii-bound aircraft and singing to appreciative passengers. One charmed lady passenger reaches out to touch Glen's arm and he responds with a smile.
The sky had no limit for this multi-talented artist who was propelled into mega stardom with his landmark television variety show.
