My exploring of Glen Affric continues in Part 2 but I struggle to be in the right place at the right time and I hit some obstacles along the way. Everything eventually came together before it was too late.

The photos

The first of the two final shots as it was snowing:
60mm | f2.8 | ISO400 | 1/1000sec
The ISO was increased to 400 to allow me to use a very fast shutter speed and freeze the movement of the snow. The shallow depth of field provided by the large aperture also enhanced the snow. A slightly slower shutter speed to show a bit more sideways movement of the snow may also have been nice.
The final shot
60mm | f9 | ISO100 | 1/20sec
It may have been worthwhile increasing the ISO a touch to gain a faster shutter speed to help account for the movement caused by the wind. Always double check your shots for sharpness when working in windy conditions.
