From boss to protagonist. In this 4-hour marathon, I embark on a journey to recreate one of the most iconic gladiators in the game: Nemesis.
After encountering her during my previous run with a downloaded "100% item" character, I liked her look—specifically how her full red armor, helmet, and spear (trident) combo resembles the Amazon from Diablo 2. While I normally prefer different character aesthetics, Nemesis looks incredibly formidable in full battle gear.
The Journey of This Run:
Restart & Refine: I spent the first 9 days of the story using the wrong skills and also some equipment were not the most suitable, such as a knife instead of a shield - realizing my stats and skills were wrong for a spear/shield build. I made the tough choice to overwrite and restart to get her Shield Style and Skill Points perfectly balanced for the mid-range techniques.
The "Amazon" Playstyle: Moving away from the spear/knife combo to the much more iconic Spear and Shield. We progress through 13 days of the story, focusing on the spear's superior reach and defensive wall tactics.
The Battle Arena: The final 72 minutes of the video are dedicated to the Arena. I bring out my roster of classic characters from 2022 and beyond for some high-level exhibition matches:
Venus & Medeia: My level 7 veterans.
Diana of Themyscira: A modded level 6 Wonder Woman import.
Callisto: My "pure" level 8 female gladiator, built without cheats or imported gear.
