I’m sure all this is all already on youtube in many different forms, starting not to care about that as much. Back in 2000 I was 18 and I had scored the P.E.A.C.E. compilation LP. By far the most standout track on there was GISM’s Endless Blockades For The Pussyfooter with its constant, frantic riffing and insane vocals. Skip forward 6 months I had finally gotten out of school and a job, and for the first time ever my wallet wasn’t empty. The record store downtown had this intriguing looking GISM CD I had my eye on forever and I finally threw down the $22.99 they were asking for. I could never have brought myself to spend that much on a record before, let alone a CD. But I had to hear what was on there as there was no other way to at the time. My expectations were fully exceeded with their D-beat Iron Maiden hardcore punk madness. Still one of the most raw, demented and powerful things I’ve ever heard until this day. The CD is a 90s vinyl rip and I cleaned it up a bit. It contains the the full Detestation album, most of M.A.N. and comp tracks from Outsider, Hardcore Unlawful Assembly and The Punx. ENJOY
