As a baby Shawn tapped to the music on the sides of his crib. Shawn grew up in a Brethren Family in Garrison, Iowa. Shawn is a performer, and has directed music at La Verne College. Shawn directed the music for a CBS National Christmas Program hosted by the Church of the Brethren.
