This is a follow-up to my last video (youtube.com/watch?v=Lfx5Y7FZ_aY). Here is another way to get GID after reviving with a fairy in water or exiting a crawlspace. You need to grab the item just as you go off the steep slope before the camera snaps back and you will get GID. I would have landed in the water in this spot, so I equipped iron boots to not immediately get the item. This should work on all steep slopes that you can cutscene dive on, which are close to water or a crawlspace.
