The largest one I could make with my collection of 8700 or so gold and nickel neodymium ball magnets. 12 flat pentagons of edge 13 balls, with 20 triangles to match in a seamless construction. Mostly just one layer thick, but with edges reinforced on the inside for strength and rigidity.
