It brings back memories of when I got my first aquarium in the late 1970s. These fish were very popular back then, but out of my reach.

The giant gourami originates from Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia), where it inhabits slow-moving rivers, lakes, and swamps.
Size: Can grow up to 60โ70 cm (24โ28 inches)
A labyrinth fish โ can breathe atmospheric air.
Known for its intelligence and calm behavior.
Highly adaptable and often kept in large aquariums or ponds.
