I used double width 2 x 4 ball pieces for the connecting rods of this larger version of a Geodesic Dome Frequency 2 (often denoted 2V). Two different lengths of these pieces were required, 15 balls and 14 balls. The magnet ball ratios were different on this one from my previous geodesic dome and sphere tutorial video because of the different diameter of pentagonal and hexagonal joints or hubs I used, but the relative distance between hub centres is close to 7:6 as shown before:

The 2V dome has a total of 20 hexagonal hubs, 6 pentagonal hubs, 65 edges (35 longer and 30 shorter) forming a total of 40 triangles. 10 of the triangles are equilateral of the longer struts, and 30 are isosceles with two edges of the shorter struts as spokes around each of the 6 pentagonal hubs.
An exact magnet requirement for this shape of (15 × 4 + (14 + 13) × 2 + 2) × 35 (long struts) + (14 × 4 + 12 × 4 + 2) x 30 (shorter struts) + 20 × 18 × 2 (hexagonal hubs) + 6 × 5 × 2 (pentagonal hubs) for a grand total of 8020 5mm neodymium magnetic balls.
