Lots More GG Allin Content on The Channel!
GG and I had chatted, on a few different occasion, about the possibility of doing more country songs that were similar to the ones that were recorded in Tampa in 1991 and ultimately became Carnival of Excess (12” vinyl available through TPOS Records.). We spoke about it on occasion before he did the show in Orlando at Club Spacefish (after the COE recordings were completed) and also when I visited him at the Jackson Michigan prison facility where he was incarcerated at that time. I was always bummed that we didn’t get to record more tracks because GG liked them so much. We spoke about him coming to Florida to do it, but I moved to Columbus Ohio, so we were going to do them there. As fate would have it, GG passed away before we were able to do the sessions. We had planned on 5 more songs. Oh well. Also in this video GG, Razor and myself chat about Carnival and possibly sending a copy to David Allen Coe (RIP).Yes, that Bob Marley flag in the intro is the actual flag that was hanging in the living room when GG was at the house. People have asked about that, which is why I mention it.
