The online event features careers advice for industry newcomers and is particularly focused on young people thinking about careers in the children’s media industry – in all its forms – TV, animation, digital media, publishing, marketing – creative, business and production.
The webinar offers a host of talent managers, recruitment and training experts, who will give their advice on how to Get In and Get On in the kids’ media industry. It will focus on the practicalities of applying for work, internships or work experience, building a CV or showreel and a LinkedIn profile. It will cover how to get the best out of interviews and how to emphasise your skills and interests.
The event also provides a quick overview of the kids’ media world and the types of roles on offer, alongside personal journeys from two professionals who have recently joined the industry.
With contributions from broadcasters and production companies including Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, Blue Zoo Animation, and the training agency ScreenSkills.
