This German strongpoint at Fort-Mahon-Plage was occupied by the 9th battery of German Coastal Artillery Regiment 1245. It was equipped with four captured French 10.5 cm field guns. Today the bunkers are slowly being engulfed by dune sand. The casemate textured surface reduced sun glare.
