In the 1970s and 1980s, Dutch F-104s and F-16s of 306 Squadron used the Orpheus Aerial Reconnaissance System. This system, developed in the Netherlands, took photographs of ground targets. Using infrared, it could distinguish between cold & warm objects. ♥️ the Volkswagen van!
