George Orwell's 1984 continues with the topic of dystopia, following on from Aldous Huxley. While Huxley observes to Orwell that his dystopia is more realistic insofar as the "conditioners" both see governing the future will more likely use carrots rather than sticks, Orwell seems particularly prescient in looking at how the dystopian future will seek to politicize language.
