Bio-Security is a set of procedures designed to protect the human population against harmful biological or biochemical substances that might emerge from animal agriculture farms and slaughterhouses.
Bill 156 (currently in process in Canada) directly targets and punishes efforts to expose threats to Bio-Security in places like feedlots, slaughterhouses, farms, and transport.
