The Mob Reporter here breaking down a pair of high-value heists that look like scenes from a movie — but the script for this thriller soon becomes a comedy. Police ended up being all over these guys, part of the Chester Le Crew, and raids and arrests showed their plotting was all for nothing. The police sweep was called “Project Kraken” and 73 people were hit with hundreds of charges. It was a Hollywood ending.
