The outlaw biker gang president stands as an almost mythical figure in American popular culture — equal parts unruly rogue and frightening crime lord. But we don’t often see one up-close and personal. Here’s our chance.
Dencklau was brought in for questioning by officers with the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, from just across the state line, in Washington. They were investigating the case of Robert Lee Huggins, a biker known as Bagger Bob, who was found dead in a field in their police jurisdiction in 2015.
Dencklau was questioned on April 27, 2016.
This interrogation video was authorized for release to me by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
