Through an intimate conversation and the live performance of his original composition ‘Jacurutú’, a piece from his debut album Cuerpo Aldea, Manu shares how his creative path has been shaped by movement, reflection and transformation. ‘Jacurutú’ calls for change as a necessary passage, a symbolic death that makes room for continual rebirth.
Manu’s work includes the albums Cuerpo Aldea (2019) and Estrada (2022), as well as the soundtrack for Diário de um crime (2023). In 2025, he produced and arranged Furta Estrela, adding yet another layer to his evolving artistic voice. His music explores the guitar as a vessel of South American identity not only as an instrument, but as a storyteller in itself.
