Genelec | Exclusive live performance of Jacurutú – Composed and performed by Manu Rosales.
Jacurutú is a fictional place in the desert, and therefore it can also be considered real. Manu Rosales understands it as a place where a collective transformation takes space, one that no longer allows us to remain the same as we were before. It is inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune saga.
Performed on guitar, Jacurutú unfolds as a journey through South American musical landscapes, shaped by Brazilian and Andean influences and guided by personal storytelling.
Jacurutú is an original composition by Manu Rosales, featured on his debut album Cuerpo Aldea (2019).
