➡️Geely just claimed the fastest EV charging time in the world. Its Golden Brick 900V battery goes from 10 to 70 percent in 4 minutes 22 seconds, beating BYD's own megawatt flash charging record by nearly 40 seconds. Peak output hits 1,100 kW, and even at 97 percent charged it's still pushing 350 kW, more than most Western EVs manage at their absolute peak. There's one problem. Geely's ultra-fast charging network is roughly one quarter the size of BYD's. The hardware won. The infrastructure hasn't caught up yet.
