アメリカの太鼓は、日本の仏教行事のお盆「盂蘭盆会（うらぼんえ）」の影響を受け、各地で行われる「obon」から発展される事がそのルーツとされている。
この映画は、全米日系人博物館の2005年の展覧会のために制作され、
曹洞宗マウイ満徳寺（パイア、ハワイ）、洗心仏教寺院（ロサンゼルス）、デンバー仏教寺院での盆踊りが取り上げられている。

Join us for a multilingual storytime in English, Spanish, and Japanese! In this traditional Japanese folktale, although Issun-boshi is only one-inch tall, his bravery and wit take him on adventures both big and small! Presented as part of the 2021 Oshogatsu Virtual Family Festival.
¡Vamanos a una hora de cuentos multilingüe en inglés, español y japonés! En este cuento tradicional japonés, aunque Issun-boshi es una pulgada de alto, su valor e inteligencia lo llevan a aventuras grandes y pequeñas. Presentado como parte del Festival de la Familia Virtual Oshogatsu 2021.
