August 30, 2026 service for the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City. Rev. Monica Dobbins reflects on the spiritual lessons of the potluck: generosity, curiosity, inclusion, humility, fairness, and trust. Inspired by the example of Dolly Parton and the tradition of breaking bread together, she invites us to see our church community as a shared table, one where everyone has something to contribute, everyone deserves to be fed, and abundance calls us to make the table longer rather than build higher fences.
