Wind Dancer - Clarity - Herbalism/Precision
*Gear Progression*
New bow bases are available at Level 5, 11, 16, 22, 28 and 39. Vendor checks for decent bows (%inc Physical Damage, flat Fire, flat Physical) are essential. Other good modifiers are additional Levels to Projectile Skills, %inc. Attack Speed as well as Flat Fire Damage. At 28 you can get the Dualstring Bow from the vendor. I would use my currency (Iron or Desert Rune, Blacksmith Whetstone and Artificer's Orb) to craft a decent Dualstring Bow. The next tier would be 39 where you should try your luck if your previous crafting attempts didn't yield a good bow. For defence in the campaign you want to look for pure evasion bases. Use your armourer's scraps on your chest. With a 400 evasion rating chest, over 8 points invested into evasion and wind dancer you should be at ~80% evade chance in the Act 3.

*Resistances*
For Act 1 you want Cold Resistance. In Act 2 you want Lightning Resistance for the final Act 2 Boss. If you do the "Elemental Offering" (Act 2, Buried Shrines) you can choose a Topaz/Ruby/Sapphire Ring. Vendors can also sell Resistance Rings. If you do not have enough Resistance Rings I would consider gambling for one at the Vendor (Risu at Act 2, Alva at Act 3) if you have sufficient Gold. The Act 3 Boss will cause all 3 Elemental Damage types, but I would prioritise getting high Lightning Resistance. You can socket Glacial/Desert/Storm to get 12% Cold/Fire/Lightning Resistance.

You want to check the vendor for quarterstaffs with Increased Physical Damage and/or Adds to Physical/Lightning/Cold/Fire Damage. You can salvage weapons with quality to get Blacksmith Whetstones which can be used to improve the quality of your weapon.
Use your Transmutation Orbs on quarterstaffs that you find off the ground or look for decent Staffs at the vendor if you do not have a decent quarterstaff. You can socket Fire/Lightning Damage if you do not otherwise have any Fire/Lightning damage sources. That will allow you to inflict a Fire/Lightning Ailment onto the Tempest Bell which will convert some of its Physical Damage to Fire/Lightning Damage and also gain more Elemental Damage. You could also socket a increased Physical Damage rune if your quarterstaff has a very high base Physical Damage. You can also get flat damage on rings and gloves.

Normally, I would go for Lead Through Grace as the second Ascendancy Notable but as I had a lot of Spirit on my gear so I went for Unbound Avatar instead.

Change in 0.3 to Glacial Cascade:
Glacial Cascade: No longer has Consumes Freeze on enemies to deal 350% more Damage. It now Consumes Freeze on non-Unique enemies to deal 150% more Damage, and Consumes Freeze on Unique enemies to deal 425% more Damage. Burst Radius is now 0.6 metres (previously 0.5 metres). The Final Burst Radius is now 0.9-1.2 metres at Gem levels 1-20 (previously 0.7 metres at all Gem levels). Quality now provides Gain 0-15% of Physical Damage as Cold Damage (previously 0-10%).
