With ISG activated, cutscenes cannot activate a normal fadeout (one that doesn't have usual DK logo). Therefore the camera switches to your kong who has been placed at the start of Hideout Helm. You can't move, though, because the controls are disabled except for Start and A, both of which will take you to the opening cutscene as usual.
Note that this map isn't the actual Hideout Helm. It is a copy of the map that lacks objects such as tag barrels, doors, enemies, and even loading zones. It's used for cutscenes like Game Over and K. Rool Press Button.
