Flathead Valley Community College has received a $7 million donation from Kalispell-area philanthropist Jerome Broussard to support an expansion of its Trades Institute.
The donation is the largest single gift in FVCC history.
The project will add about 24,000 square feet of new space and renovate roughly 23,400 square feet. Plans include dedicated labs for electrical, HVAC, plumbing and machining programs, along with a new building trades work area and flexible classroom space.
