Well, my Free! MEP is done. And it is beautiful and angsty and wonderful. Everyone did an amazing job on their parts.
For this MEP, the editor's tasks were to create an emotional, dark part with a couple from Free, showing an unbalanced relationship, following the lyrics, and paying special attention to the references to water.

Merry Christmas dear! In your wishlist, you said you wanted an Avatar girls video and anything with this band, so I put them both together for you! I hope you like this, and Im sorry I couldnt fit more girls in there, but the video just kind of fit together by itself and it just so happened Suki and the others werent a part of it. Ah, well, storytime!
I was worried about how this song would work but as soon as I listened to it, I realized it was perfect and there were certain parts for certain characters. True, they arent given very even screen-time between all of them, but Im quite happy with how this turned out!
(Mini storylines, mostly for those not familiar with the fandom.)
Korra:
Its all about new horizons for her, leaving the South Pole to train with Tenzin, being independent of everyone who told her what to do. It does have melancholy feel, but I wanted the freedom to be almost overwhelming for her in the end, as she realizes she wont have to worry about not being to bend air anymore.
Mai/Ty Lee/Azula:
Its a little shippy, but more on the friend-y side for these three here. I wanted to focus on mostly Mai and Ty Lees points of view as Mai feels, secretly, left out, until she betrays Azula to save Zuko (not shown in video) and Ty Lee in turn saves Mai, only to be imprisoned with her.
Katara:
Theres a hint of Kataang in here as well, but Aang is important to her no matter what relationship they have, and I loved her never giving up hope that the Avatar would return, and how shes always there for him when he needs her. Mainly, what I wanted for Katara was to show how emotionally driven she is, how her compassion is one of her strongest traits.
Toph:
Tophs defiance of her father is an important scene to me. Plus, she kicks ass and totally kills the helpless, sweet image people have of the blind. Like Korra, I wanted to show that sense of independence and freedom to choose what you want to do with your life.
Message to Erin:
I hope you have a merry Christmas, sweetheart, and thanks so much for just talking with me and being so nice all the time! Im thrilled to have the chance to collab with you and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome anime videos! Thank you for your constant support and for just being there. Enjoy your video!

Wow, that really astounds me. Because two years ago, I looked at people with 400 subs and was amazed. I thought this type of number was out of reach and now that 400 people have subscribed to me, I just find it so fjsndhjanhjcfdns!!!! xD
Just, thank you. Thats all I can really say! I hope you enjoy this video. I wanted something fun for 400 subs and when I heard this song a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted it to be my 400 subs video. I was unsure of what pairing to use at the time, but then I watched this anime, and I couldnt imagine a better pairing for this song.
The video gave me a LOT of trouble because my program kept crashing. Thats why its about a month late and shorter than originally intended. I am proud of what I was able to complete, though, for the most part, and I hope you all like it too. I tried a lot of different things here.
About the video/Story-line:
This video starts off in Rins point of view. His thoughts on Haru, all of which are teasing. He is telling Haru to be happy with his presence while he can, and mocking him for craving their lost relationship in the first place. The next part, the verse, is Harus point of view, recognizing how much Rin and their relationship has changed, especially the outgoing, determined boy he knew Rin to be before. Your concretes cheapening, crumbling like Greece on me. The next part is Rin again- dont take this swim for more than it is. That line was probably my favorite. xD
