A simple way of testing and flow matching fuel injectors. These are injectors and fuel rail from a Jeep 4.0ltr engine, but the general principle applies to any other low pressure injector. GDI and Diesel injectors can't be tested by this method as they need much higher pressure.
A common problem with old or second hand purchased injectors is that the condition is pretty much a gamble, unless they been tested.
Here we use some cheap and easy to obtain components and a kitchen scale to find out how they actually perform, we also compare some Chinese knock offs to the real Chrysler parts.
It's not the most accurate way of dong this, but a decent flow bench is an investment which can't really be justified for occasional use. Doing 2 or 3 runs should produce a reasonable average and clearly indicates poor injectors.
