Every day, waves of plastic pollution are washing up on the shores of one of the most famous tourist locations in Asia. During the rainy season, Indonesia's polluted rivers are flushed out and ocean currents deposit the plastic waste onto the country's beaches, choking marine ecosystems and killing marine life.
