This is the time of year where I try to make a serious dent in the pile of books I have accumulated over the past two years. I like buying books, but I also like reading them. Sometimes I need to focus on one side of that equation more than the other. This week I tackle a big novel I bought last year, a graphic collection from the early oughts and a trashy pulp story from 1967.
