Trying to find some sort of method to do rock jumps more consistently.
Current method:
-hold wiiremote sideways
-curl index finger around where the IR sensor is
-put left thumb of the left edge of a and right thumb over right edge of a
jump normally with right thumb, initiate rock jump with left
-alternate a press with each thumb while shaking the controller with your left arm
-make sure to slightly hold the a button in with each alternating press
This could become consistent? At least for 5 rock jumps in a row. It's hard to get the right rhythm, but it's possible to hit like 20 in a row when done right. It's just incredibly hard to do.
Also checking how many tries you can get away with before losing time to a standard route. Probably 1st 2nd and 3rd try would save time. 4th try would likely go even if you don't bungle the boss fight like I did. So getting it 1/4 tries would be the consistency needed to put this in a 20XX style route.
If I get another run while messing around with controller holding methods, then I will post if PB or put a link here if not a PB.
