FREE Lightning Rod Blueprint Reminder + NEW Camo Unlock & Other CDL Champs Rewards!
I made a video about a month or so ago letting you know about the new CDL Viewership rewards that had just been announced on their website which included the lightning rod blueprint for the kastov 74u
You guys wanted me to make a reminder video for the blueprint unlock closer to the actual event so that’s what this video is and I also wanted to let you know about some new viewership rewards that have been teased for the CDL Champs which are taking place next month.
So to unlock the lightning rod blueprint you need to watch the Call of Duty League Live stream for 60 minutes on either twitch.tv/callofduty or youtube.com/CODLeague.
The live stream you need to watch will be starting at 10:30 am Pacific Standard Time on Sunday the 28th of May, which is roughly in about 2 days from this video going live..
No Matter which website you want to watch on, you first need to head to profile.callofduty.com/cod/profile and make sure you link whichever platform that you play on with your call of duty account.
If you’re going to watch on twitch then on this same page you also need to link your twitch account as well.
If you’re going to watch on youtube tho then after linking your platform on that call of duty website you then need to head to and click on activision id, follow the prompts that it gives you and this link your accounts together
To check that you’ve done it right on youtube you can then go to the watch page for the live stream which is already up and underneath the video it should say connected. While you’re here also make sure to click on notify and you’ll get an alert from youtube once the stream goes live so you don’t miss it.
The annoying part about watching on youtube is that you're not going to be able to track your progress or anything like that which kind of sucks, so you’re going to have to keep track of how long you’ve been watching but after 60 minutes just boot up or restart your game and the blueprint should be available.
After watching for 60 minutes on twitch tho you’ll get a notification that you’ve earned the drop and you just need to click on that notification and then click on claim under the blueprint and then the next time you open up the game it should be available for you to use.
I’ll make sure to include all of the links that i’ve been talking about here in the pinned comment of this video, just to make life abit easier for you if you still need to link your accounts
Like I mentioned at the start of the video some new viewership rewards have been teased for the CDL champs which is taking place from the 15th to the 18th of June, for this event certain streamers will be hosting their own watch parties and these streams will have their own viewership rewards available.
There doesn’t appear to be any information about how long you need to watch for to unlock this stuff but what we do know is that these particular drops will only be available on Twitch & NOT on Youtube.
In terms of the rewards we know that at the least there is going to be a combat knife blueprint, an emblem, calling card and what looks to be a universal camo available to unlock as you can see on screen right now.
This might end up just being a blueprint for the M4 but because the one shown doesn’t have any attachments i’m more leaning towards this being a camo.
As we learn more about exactly how the drops are going to work i’ll make sure to keep you all updated so if you’re interested now could be a good time to make sure you have notifications turned on!
