ALL 7 Ashika Island DMZ Weapon Case Rewards! (FREE Rewards MW2 Season 2)
In this video we’re going to take a look at the 7 new rewards you can earn from extracting the weapon case from ashika island as well as some tips & tricks for locating the case itself.
So lets not mess around and get straight into it
Like i say there are 7 rewards total that you can earn and the case works just the same as the other ones do. You earn one reward each time you extract with it and the progres will count for you entire team, So as long as any one of your team members extracts it, You’ll get the progress and one reward.
Now the first reward is the Back Up Plan Blueprint for the P890 Pistol
The second reward is the Aces Emblem
Third is the Full House Calling Card
Fourth is the Bear with Me Weapon Sticker
Fifth is the Triple Threat Loading Screen
Sixth is the Full House Emblem
And finally for extracting the case for a seventh time you’ll unlock the Fight Night Blueprint for the Taq-56 Assault Rifle.
So to get the weapons case you need to kill the bombmaker who will drop it. He is located in the same spot every game which is in the top story of the main castle area and this is marked on the map with the yellow weapon case icon.
Before heading to the castle you wanna make sure that you’re looted up and at the least have a 3 plate armor vest, The best way to get one of these is to either do a raid weapon stash contact, or do a radiation contract and then sell the nuclear material you find from doing it to get cash for getting a 3 plate at the buy station.
Once you’re prepared and ready to go you want to make your way to the castle area and locate the wheelson which will just be doing laps around the middle of the courtyard area.
Now you need to hack this Wheelson in order to unlock the main Castle building where the bombmaker is.
You can either use thermites and other equipment to take it out or an easier way we found was to just use a DDOS field upgrade to disable it and if you’re quick enough you can then hack the wheelson.
If you don’t do this quick enough it will just take off again but if you do manage to hack it then it will just ignore you once it goes back online.
One thing with doing this hack is that there is a bug similar to opening the other loot crates in DMZ, you need to make sure that you controller setting is on Tap to Reload otherwise you won’t be able to do the hack which is pretty annoying but it is what it is.
Now the main castle building where the bombmaker is located is full of mines, claymores, sentry guns and heaps of heavy enemies so you need to be careful.
An easy strat we found was to open the main front doors, Take out all the AI as they funnel towards that door and then once it’s reasonably clear head up the stairs that you can see right in front of you
At the top of the stairs you want to jump over the side railing and shoot out the prox mine and claymores that are there.
Then you want to sprint straight through this door and get behind the sentry gun which you can then easily take out.
Then head up the next set of stairs just to the left of that sentry gun, be careful tho because there is a trip wire on this set of stairs so defuse it before heading up.
Now at the top of these stairs is where the bombmaker is located. There are couple of trophy systems in here so make sure to take those out before throwing any equipment.
The bombmaker himself is piss easy to kill, He barely has any health the main challenge of getting this weapon case is really just avoiding all of the equipment all over the place. Once he dies you’ll see the weapons case drop onto the ground and any one on your team can pick it up.
Then you wanna check for either a nearby prisoner rescue contract for a low key exfil, Or just check for a normal exfil that is close by and keep an eye out for any active uav towers, strongholds or sam sites cause that means there will be other teams there.
Just like in Al Mazarah you can invite other players to join your team, so definitely make the most of this if you can cause it will make getting the weapon and extracting it that much easier
