What an adventure it has been.
A random phone call from Gary Mills mid January started the ball rolling.
Quickly a plan was hatched and Baby Blue was packed into a container and on her way to the southern hemisphere. Apart from a nail biting customs delay, everything else went as planned.
So many people to thank.
Gary Mills of Steelweld Fabrications of course for masterminding the whole thing.
Glenn Alcorn of Alcorn Motorsport for on-event support and great banter along the way and not one bit soft in his Corolla.
Great to catch up with Jonathan Charlesson and Shaun Mc Macken.
Oisin McLaughlin and Anthony Bonner for the nifty spanner work in service. 2 mighty men.
All the rest of the lads in service that pitched in when needed.
The hundreds or maybe thousands of people that said hello over the weekend. Most of them Irish.
Huge thanks to Ross Tapper and his team for running a very slick event and for holding our hand all the way through.
We had lots of challenges on the stages but got through or around them and we are over the moon with our podium result and a car in one piece.
Lastly, a big shout out to all of the WA Irish community and sponsors who helped make this trip possible.
