So these videos were from an opportunity I had to fly back home in Victoria. Weather hasn’t been too good here so time was of the essence to get testing in.
The 3” was really fun to fly and with a bit of work I think it will make a formidable race platform and general fun flyer. Honestly I think 3” racing should be a more common occurrence as they handle very similar to a full 5” frame but have less mass, are cheaper to maintain and open the door for making more crazy courses. Paired with LEDs I think they would also make for an awesome night show and race DRL style. Right now I only have three batteries for it so will have have to wait to get more :)

ESCs: Sunrise Cicada 10a (2-3s)
Props: HQ3x3x3, will be trying HQ 3x3x4 soon hopefully
FC: Piko BLX (using BF 3.0.1)
VTX: INNOVA VTX/OSD
Battery: Dinogy 600mah 4s

Motors: F40iii 2600kv (really loving these motors)
ESCs: F30a (2-6s) (custom fairings required to fit them on a Helix)

Motors: F40ii 2400kv (11 months old and still going)
ESCs: Aikon 30a (2-6s)
