In February 2018, someone announced an album where anyone can submit a Famicom song (cover or original), and then it would be released sometime in 2019. It wasn't a competition or contest, though. It was album "for people to submit whatever they want and get some feedback on it." I was quite excited, so I decided to make some songs and submit them, and here's the four songs I covered for the album. A day before I uploaded this video, I was told that the album was cancelled, so I decided to upload them here.
I also had an original song made with 5 N163 channels and the Sunsoft 5B chip (to make a Konami SCC style song), which was the first to be submitted. I didn't include it here because the song doesn't stand up to my current standards, though I have since uploaded it on its own: youtu.be/DeWSNJyKcvw. In fact, I had told the one who had announced the album to replace the song with my cover of Space Harrier about a month before it was cancelled.
