In light of the recent events, Quasimodo goes off to think about life before the university. He is discovered by Elsa, who is exploring the grounds in her fox form. He tells her about his life in the underground tunnels of the rock trolls, the original Earthbenders, and how he never fit in with them because of his lack of bending, and how above ground he was judged for his appearance. Elsa takes in account how statues come to life in his presence, and reassures him that he is, in fact, an Earthbender. Nervous, Quasi follows her...and while training, recalls Grand Pabbie's advice about rocks...which then inspires him to keep working, eventually becoming a fully realized Earthbender.
