It's funny how once again, I go back to the ice bucket. The father-daughter idea, I admit, isn't original, but I loved the story that kept writing itself when I was brainstorming ways of getting characters in. Plus, my love of playing wise old men kept coming back from my withdrawals in RPing.
Name: Victor Fries
Age: 52

Personality: Victor is a calm before the storm type. When he is in a patient mood, he will listen to suggestions calmly and quietly. Yet when his anger is fully realized, he will not stop until the immediate threat or source of his ire is stopped. Only a select few can snap him out of his fits of rage, and a common trigger is his family. He is incredibly logical and intelligent yet blunt. If there is a problem with someone’s health or equipment, he will point it out. When it comes to family, he treasures it to a fault. He loves his daughter, and is extremely protective of her as he lost his wife and wants to hold his family vlose. Yet he is coming to grips she is no longer a child, allowing her freedom.
Bio: Victor had been fascinated with cryonics as a child. Yet his habit of freezing animals wound him up in a reform school by his disapproving parents. He successful earned a medical degree and fell in love with a woman named Nora. They had a daughter, Elsa, before Nora was diagnosed with a fatal illness. Victor self-funded an operation for Nora. Unfortunately, a rival scientist heard of the experiment and attacked Victor, where he was shoved into his own cryogenic coolants. The explosion resulted in him losing not only his normal body functions, but his wife.
The robotic scientists were able to manufacture a robotic heart that would keep Victor’s core temperature at subzero. Having lost his legs in the accident has forced him into robotic limbs, and he even wears cooling suits to protect his body.

Job: Bartender at the Electric Connection
Personality: Elsa is very intelligent, like her father, but not quite as introverted. She is an extroverted introvert; she is sociable and polite, but more often prefers time alone. Elsa is pro synth for the sake of her father, and is prone to panic attacks due to nearly losing both parents. She loves her father dearly, taking every piece of advice he gives her with sincerity.
Bio: Elsa was born an only child of Victor and Nora Fries. Her mother was diagnosed with a fatal sickness when Elsa was eight, and on the day her father and mother “died”, she became shut off and reserved. Even finding out her father was alive hadn’t thawed her. With Victor still making money, Elsa stayed by his side to support him, even with the cold apartment. Wanting to be an independent young adult, Elsa got a job mixing drinks at Electric Connection, even borrowing her father’s coolants to keep drinks cold. Her bartender nickname “ice queen” comes from her elegant nature and always getting perfectly chilled drinks for clients.
