I always joke that their relationship is just another 'Beauty and the Beast' - I mean Duncan's a hotheaded half-dragon, that's pretty beastly. But I digress...
Basically I took the climax of one of the threads written, which is Belle comforting Duncan after going through an emotionless state brought upon him by his dragon father Belloc. This is the biggest obstacle the two of them have gone through, which had Belle going in hysterics trying to snap him out of it, even following him to witness his intense fighting regimes. Belle is able to snap him out of his dragon rage which stops him from killing a weakened monster and him going to Belle, realizing she's the one thing his heart's been telling him to go towards.
