Feeling depressed, Jack goes off to be by himself. He is approached by his new friend Aqua, who sits herself down to ask why he's not his usual perky herself. Unsure of why, he tells her that before coming to Draco, he was an every day kid, but things changed when he saved the life of a little girl on thin ice. He himself had fallen through and in normal circumstances would have died, but apparently the patron spirit of Water, Yue, found favor in Jack's action and revived him and giving him the gift of bending, which also altered his appearance. Aqua reassures him this is all a good thing, and they start talking on more light hearted matters.
