I work in an ISP classroom, which is basically low-functioning special ed with a higher ratio of teachers to students. I've had a pretty healthy relationship with my co-workers except for one. I'm not sure what his deal is, but whenever I try to compliment him for a good work or start a conversation (No it's not flirting, it's just small talk), I get the cold shoulder or a one word response. I'm the only co-worker he does this to, as he'll have open conversations with other workers and since it's been going on for the past MONTH, I opened up to another co-worker about it. She told me the famous "it's not you, it's them" line, and while it made me feel a bit better, it still didn't sit right. I don't want to turn it into a "high-school drama" situation, but I am actually dreading going to work because of this guy. It doesn't help that I have no one outside of the internet community to talk to.
